Brockton Man Dies in Route 24 Crash
A 22-year-old is dead following an early-morning crash.
BROCKTON, MA — A 22-year-old Brockton man is dead after an early-morning crash on Route 24, police said.
Police responded to a report of a single-car crash on Route 24 in Brockton at about 5:20 a.m. Friday morning. The driver and sole occupant, Brian Charles Jr., was ejected in the rollover crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are investigating why the 2012 Volkswagen Passat, traveling southbound, veered left and struck the median barrier.
