Brockton, Taunton Teens Charged With Selling Heroin in East Bridgewater

A Brockton teen and Taunton juvenile face multiple drug charges out of East Bridgewater.
Naszeir Pina, 19, of Brockton, and a 16-year-old Taunton teen were both arrested and charged with distributing heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substances Act and a school zone violation, according to the East Bridgewater Police Department.
In December, detectives assigned to the W.E.B. Major Crimes and Drug Task Force launched an investigation into the distribution and sale of fentanyl and heroin in the greater Bridgewater area. The investigation concluded that the suspected targets, Pina and the teen, were allegedly selling drugs in and around Taunton, Brockton, and surrounding communities, police said.

During a traffic stop at about 1 p.m. on Dec. 28, detectives seized approximately 10 grams of heroin and other items associated with the distribution of narcotics from the vehicle. Pina and the teen, who were both in the car, were taken into custody.
Both are being held pending their arraignment in Brockton District Court.
