ABINGTON, MA — A Brockton woman had an open bottle of vodka and was drunk when she crashed into another vehicle, police said.Katy L. Sawyer, 30, of Brockton faces her second drunken driving offense, driving to endanger, possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and failing to yield at an intersection, <a href="http://www.enterprisenews.com/news/20160718/brockton-woman-faces-second-oui-charge-after-abington-crash" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">police told the Enterprise.</a>She is free on personal recognizance.Saturday afternoon, Sawyer was on Route 18 when she allegedly took a left turn and crashed into another vehicle. During a field sobriety test, Sawyer allegedly registered a blood alcohol content level of 0.24 percent. The legal limit is 0.08.She is due back in court on Aug. 17.
