Burning Hot Dogs Lead to Drug Charges for Brockton Man

Brockton, MA — Burnt hot dogs have led to drug charges for a Brockton man.

Rodney Frederick, 38, was arrested early Sunday morning and charged with trafficking cocaine, possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug, possession of a Class E drug, possession of a firearm without a FID card and possession of a counterfeit note according to the Enterprise.

When firefighters responded to a call at a multi-family home on Farrington St., they not only found burnt hot dogs, but a bag of cocaine as well. A search of the home by police resulted in several grams of the drug, dozens of oxycodone pills, and more.

Frederick was arraigned in Brockton District Court Tuesday. He was ordered held on $100,000 cash bail and is due back in court on Aug. 5.
