Car Crashes Into CVS On Centre Street In Brockton
Brockton police said a woman sustained minor injuries when she hit the accelerator instead of the break and slammed into the CVS Thursday.
BROCKTON, MA — Brockton police said a woman attempting to park her Toyota Rav 4 accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the break and slammed into the CVS on Centre Street Thursday morning. Police spokesman David Duarte said the woman was treated for minor injuries at Brockton Hospital.
Duarte said the call came in shortly after 11 a.m. for a vehicle strike into a building with Brockton firefighters and Brewster Ambulance also responding. Duarte said there was damage to the building and the vehicle.
This was yet another in a series of vehicle-into-building crashes in Brockton in recent months. Three weeks ago a car crashed into the Italian Kitchen on Main Street. On Dec. 10, an SUV slammed into the side of a convenience store on Belmont Avenue.
