Abington 11-year-Old Shot in Face
The boy was taken to the hospital with a gunshot injury.

ABINGTON, MA — A boy in Abington was taken to the hospital after suffering a gun wound Wednesday afternoon.
Police responded to the incident on Linwood Street. Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz said two boys, both 11 years old, got their hands on a gun and one shot the other, according to WHDH. The shooting was accidental and the gun in legal, Cruz said.
The boy was transported to a Boston hospital and is in stable condition as of Wednesday night.

The victim's name hasn't been released but he is a student at an Abington elementary school.
No word on if there were adults home at the time of the shooting.
