Deck Fire Damages Brockton Home

BROCKTON, MA — A deck fire caused damage to a home on Market Street Friday afternoon.

At about 1:54 p.m., firefighters responded to a report of a building fire. By the time they arrived, the back deck blaze had been extinguished, according to the Enterprise.

The fire caused damage to the siding and wood under the siding. A fire inspector and wire inspector were at the scene, but it is not known if anyone will be displaced.
