Driver In Fatal Crash Was On Phone With Drug Dealer Prosecutors Say
Danielle Mastro faces multiple charges including motor vehicle homicide.

BROCKTON, MA — The woman who police say caused a fatal crash in Brockton was ordered held today.
Danielle Mastro, 33, of Pembroke, was arraigned Tuesday morning in Brockton District Court on charges of motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation, leaving the scene of personal injury and death, leaving the scene of personal injury, and operating with a suspended license. She was ordered held on $50,000 cash bail.
Monday afternoon, police responded to a report of a crash on Quincy Street between Center and Court street. According to the Plymouth County District Attorney's office, an Audi crashed into an SUV, pushing it into the dump truck. Danielle Mastro, the driver of the Audi, was allegedly on the phone with her drug dealer at the time of the crash.

Mastro's attorney said Mastro has been fighting addiction for years and wanted a chance to enter rehab.

The victim has been identified as Deborah Combra, the mother of Whitman Police Department auxiliary officer Michael Combra.
