DuBois Stands Behind ICE Raid Facebook Post
It's been a wild week for State Rep. Michelle DuBois.
BROCKTON, MA — It's been a wild week for State Rep. Michelle DuBois, who drew controversy after posting about a rumored ICE raid scheduled to take place in Brockton.
In a post on her Facebook Page, State Rep. Michelle DuBois wrote that she was told by a person in the Latin community that the Immigration and Customs Agency would be in Brockton Tuesday and Wednesday for a raid. DuBois said she was forwarding a rumor that she says is known over Brockton, but as of Thursday, the agency has not made any arrests in the city.
In an interview with the Enterprise, DuBois said she was proud of herself and defended her post as something she did for the betterment of the community.

On Facebook, DuBois called criticism of her post a national campaign attack from the alt-right before posting a link to make a contribution to her reelection campaign.
