UPDATE: Teen Charged in Fatal Brockton Stabbing
The Plymouth County DA's office says the stabbing occurred during a domestic dispute.

BROCKTON, MA — Police are investigating a fatal stabbing in Brockton.
Wednesday afternoon, police and the Plymouth County District Attorney's office responded to a domestic dispute on Merritt Avenue.The Enterprise reports that a woman called police just before 1 a.m. to report a stabbing inside a home.

Susan Tran of NECN reports that an 18-year-old is in police custody. The victim, his mother, has been pronounced dead at Brockton Hospital. The suspect's grandmother is being interviewed by police.
At 9:42 p.m., it was announced that Frantz Polynice is being charged with murdering his mother.
