UPDATE: Ex-Quincy Man Charged in Brockton Hit and Run, Held on Bail
Christopher Jansky, 39, was ordered held on $750,000 bail.

BROCKTON, MA - A man has been arrested in connection to a hit and run in Brockton involving a 13-year-old.
Christopher Jansky, 39, is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday, according to WFXT. He is originally from Quincy but currently has a Las Vegas address.

He is charged with leaving the scene of an accident with personal injury and operating with a suspended license.
Wednesday afternoon, 13-year-old Elias Lebon was crossing the street near the intersection of Cross Street and Winslow Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle allegedly driven by Jansky. The car from the incident drove away and was found abandoned by police.
Lebon was taken to Boston Children's Hospital with serious injuries.

Thursday, prosecutors at his arraignment said Jansky planned on fleeing to Las Vegas, according to CBS Boston.
Jansky's defense attorney said no witnesses could place his him as the person behind the wheel.
He was held on $750,000 bail, higher than the $650,000 requested by the Plymouth County District Attorney's office.
