GoFundMe Started to Help Brockton Boy Hit by Car

BROCKTON, MA - A 13-year-old Brockton boy who was struck by a car is recovering in this hospital.

Elias Lebon was in fair condition at Boston Children’s Hospital as of Tuesday afternoon, according to the Enterprise. He was listed in serious condition since Sunday.

Last week, Lebon was injured right in front of his home, with the driver fleeing. A suspect was arraigned the next day.

To help the family pay for their son's medical bills, a GoFundMe campaign has been created.

"I hope that with this campaign Elias and his family can have some relief knowing that they can rest easy and concentrate on the important things...a full recovery," page creator Alma Karina wrote.
