Grandmother Killed in Brockton Rollover
Police say the car flipped twice before crashing on the front yard of a home.

BROCKTON, MA - A 65-year-old grandmother has died after a rollover crash in Brockton.
The woman, identified as Mercedes Dorval of Brockton, was on West Street in a car driven by her 21-year-old granddaughter. At about 2 p.m. on Sunday, the granddaughter lost control of the vehicle and hit a fire hydrant. The car flipped twice before crashing on the front yard of a home, according to the Enterprise.

Police say the jaws of life were needed to free both women. Dorval was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital where she was pronounced dead,
Johanna Bernard, 21, of Quincy, has been identified as the driver. She was taken to Boston Medical Center.
