Hanson Middle School Placed on Lockdown During Search for Home Invasion Suspects
The shelter in place order was lifted during school dismissal.

HANSON, MA — A shelter in place was ordered at Hanson Middle School, Thursday.
The school said on Twitter that the request came from the police department. No one was allowed in or out of the building until the order is lifted. The shelter in place ended during dismissal time. All after school activities will be held as usual, the school said.
The school says the measure was a precautionary one and there was no direct threat to the school. WATD reports that the lockdown was requested as police search for four men connected to a home invasion. Two have been taken into custody, and two more have been tracked to the Pembroke town line and Camp Kiwanee, police said.
