BROCKTON, MA — Firefighters knocked down a "heavy" blaze at a triple-decker in the 100 block of Tribou Street Friday morning, Brockton Fire Department announced in a news conference.

Fire officials responded to the scene at around 7:37 a.m. to find the fire burning on the second and third floors of the building, Brockton Fire Chief Nardelli told reporters about an hour later.

"The fire was knocked down pretty quick, but you can see there are still some hot spots we're chasing," Nardelli added. "We'll be here for quite awhile."
