Man Charged with Raping Brockton Student at High School During School Day
Police say a student was raped in the Brockton High School parking lot during the school day.

BROCKTON, MA — An Ayer man faces charges after allegedly raping a Brockton High School student around midday Thursday.
Andy Thao, 44, was arrested on Friday and charged with rape according to the Enterprise.
Police say that the rape happened between noon ant 1:45 p.m. in the high school parking lot. School officials say that Thao knew the victim and picked her up at school Thursday.

Brockton police referred questions on the incident to the school district. Superintendent Kathleen Smith called the incident an isolated one.
