BROCKTON, MA - One person was injured in what appears to be a robbery gone wrong on Ash Street Friday afternoon.
The Enterprise reports that the person who was shot had set up a fake ad for a dirtbike. When a prospective buyer arrived on Washburn Street to look at the bike, the seller revealed a BB gun. The buyer then pulled out a real gun, shot the man.
Police say the man in the real gun appeared to be acting in self-defense and did not say if anyone would face charges.
