Man Killed by Commuter Rail Train in Brockton

Police say the incident took place late Sunday night.

BROCKTON, MA — A man died Sunday night after he was struck by a commuter rail train.

Transit police tell the Boston Globe that the 37-year-old man was struck north of the Campello train station at about 11:17 p.m. Police have not released the man's name.

The incident led to delays for a train on the Middleborough/Lakeville line. The passengers on the train were transported by bus to their destination.
