Murder-Suicide Reported in Brockton

Brockton, MA — Two people are dead after an apparent murder-suicide in Brockton.

The District Attorney's office says a 53-year-old woman was killed, possibly by strangulation. Her 61-year-old boyfriend hanged himself, according to WHDH

District Attorney Tim Cruz told reporters that the couple's landlord performed a well-being check after relatives became concerned after one of them missed work.

Autopsies will be performed to determine official cause of death.
