Nearly 30 Arrested In Brockton In Crackdown On Drugs, Violent Crimes
Over 100 officials from state police, Brockton police, the FBI, U.S. Marshalls, and the Plymouth County Sheriff's Department took part.

BROCKTON, MA — A city-wide effort to execute search and arrest warrants at 40 locations has led to the arrest of 26 people.
Tuesday morning, over 100 law enforcement officials from the Brockton Police Department, Massachusetts State Police, FBI, U.S. Marshals, Southeastern Mass. Gang Task Force, Plymouth County Sheriff's Department, Mass. Parole and Probation, and the Department of Youth Services arrested over two dozen suspects charged with various narcotics and violent offenses.
Mayor Bill Carpenter said search warrants were executed three Brockton locations by both Brockton and State Police and resulted in the seizure of over 100 grams of cocaine and a firearm at 145 North Warren Ave.

Carpenter told WFXT that almost each person arrested had a prior record and a history of being charged with violent crimes or drugs distribution.
