Needles Discovered on Brockton School Property

Discarded needles continue to be a problem in Brockton.

BROCKTON, MA — Just days before the start of school, discarded needles continue to be a problem in Brockton.

Police tell FOX 25 that addicts are going into the woods and playground near Barrett Russell Elementary School to shoot up. A group named “Operation Arch Angels” is attempting to clean up the needles, but the news station found more Friday.

Lt. Richard Lienhan said custodians will perform sweeps in the morning to remove needles.
