New Brockton Charter School Construction Halted by City
City officials say the school didn't have the proper permits for construction.

BROCKTON, MA — When students enrolled at New Heights Charter School start school this week, they won't be sitting in the building or city they expected to.
Parents recently learned that construction at the charter school is not even close to completion and the city recently ordered a stop work on the site's windows, saying the school didn't have building permits, according to WBZ.
Students will instead attend classes at a location in Norwood. They will have to move into the Brockton location by Jan. 3, 2017.
