No Bail for Brockton Teen Charged with Killing Mother

BROCKTON, MA — A teen accused of stabbing his mother Wednesday afternoon will remain in prison.

Frantz Polynice, 18, was ordered held without bail during his arraignment Thursday morning in Brockton District Court

Wednesday afternoon, police and the Plymouth County District Attorney's office responded to a reported stabbing and domestic dispute on Merritt Avenue. Authorities say Polynice allegedly stabbed his mother up to 15 times

The victim, 44-year-old Mania Meneide, died at a hospital in Brockton.
