One Injured, Two Arrested Following Report of Gunshots

One man was shot and two more were arrested Monday night, police said.

BROCKTON, MA — One man was shot and two more were arrested Monday night, police said.

At about 10:45 p.m., police responded to a report of gunshots around Main Street and Martin Place, near Forest Avenue. While speaking to witnesses, police learned that the suspect's car fled the scene and was found at a housing complex down the road, according to the Enterprise.

Police say a trail of blood from the vehicle to the apartment led them to the victim.

The car was a rental registered to JC Jones. He was located near the vehicle and was arrested with Edward Green, who was a passenger in the vehicle.

Both men were charged with trafficking fentanyl, trafficking cocaine, possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number during a felony, illegal possession of a large capacity feeding device and illegal possession of ammunition.
