Person Struck By Train In Brockton

A person was struck by a train at the Brockton Commuter Rail station on Commercial Street.

BROCKTON, MA — A person was struck by a train at the Brockton Commuter Rail station, fire officials said. Emergency officials were called to the Commercial Street station Tuesday night and found the man under the train.

Fire officials said the man was conscious and alert, but had to be extricated from underneath the train.

Trains on the Middleborough/Lakeville line have been delayed and are operating 35 to 40 minutes behind schedule.
