BROCKTON, MA — Police in Brockton are investigating why two men stole the wheelchair of a double amputee.<a href="http://boston.cbslocal.com/2017/04/07/double-amputee-robbed-wheelchair-wallet-in-brockton/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Steve Otis told WBZ</a> that he was on a sidewalk when two men knocked him down, took his wallet and wheelchair, and fled. He made it 100 feet from the scene of the crime when police found him.The wheelchair was found in an abandoned lot by a firefighter,Otis has been a double amputee for five years.
