Police Seize 100 Grams Of Cocaine In Brockton Raid

Police said they found 101 grams of crack cocaine in a sock on the floor during a raid. Two people face charges.

BROCKTON, MA — A Brockton man and woman were arrested Friday after police seized over 100 grams of cocaine during a home raid, police said. Michael Farrier Jr, 24, was charged with trafficking over 100 grams of cocaine, while Janieka Vickers-Bruton, 20, was charged with possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute.

Just before 6:30 a.m., police executed a search warrant on the second-floor of 38 Howard Square. Police told the Brockton Enterprise they found 101 grams of crack cocaine in a sock on the floor. Officers said they also seized .6 grams of a class B drug from Vickers-Bruton and a digital scale in one of the bedrooms.

Both suspects were scheduled to be arraigned in Brockton District Court Friday.
