Shots Fired Near Brockton Peace Rally
One person was taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds.

BROCKTON, MA — As members of the Brockton community rallied for peace, a nearby shooting took place at the same time, police said.
Apostolic Church of God Deacon James Jones told WBZ that his church was having a peace march as the gunfire went off. Nobody at the church was hit, but one person was transported to the hospital with gunshot wounds.
James says police are reviewing surveillance footage from the church, noting that things like that are happening a lot in the neighborhood and other parts of the city.
