Teens Charged in Chinese Food Delivery Driver Robbery

The teens were charged Saturday night.

BROCKTON, MA — Three teenage boys were charged with trying to rob a Chinese food delivery worker over the weekend, police said.

Saturday night, a 17-year-old was arrested and charged with armed and masked robbery, possession with intent to distribute a Class D drug, interfering with a police officer, conspiracy and disturbing the peace, according to the Enterprise. A 16-year-old was summonsed for armed and masked robbery, carrying a dangerous weapon, conspiracy and disturbing the peace and a 14-year-old was summonsed for armed and masked robbery, conspiracy and disturbing the peace.

At about 10:34 p.m., a driver from Golden Corner told police that he thought the teenagers were going to rob him. He was suppose to make a delivery on North Montello St., but returned to the store to call police after seeing three men at the end of the driveway.

Police found the teens in the area. They allegedly had a knife and a small bag of marijuana on them. It's unknown if the three are involved in other reported delivery driver robberies.
