Two 11-Year-Old Boys Hospitalized After Being Hit By Car In Brockton

A 60-year-old Brockton driver was traveling northbound on Warren Avenue when he struck the boys, according to police.

BROCKTON, MA — Two 11-year-old boys are seriously injured but stable after being hit by a car in Brockton Tuesday afternoon, police confirmed to Patch Wednesday.

Authorities said that the children are both being treated at Boston Children's Hospital after being struck by an SUV at Market Street and Warren Avenue shortly after 5 p.m. Tuesday.

A 60-year-old Brockton driver was traveling northbound on Warren Avenue when he struck the boys, according to police. Both boys were taken to a local hospital before being transported to Boston Children's—one in a helicopter and the other in an ambulance.

Investigators will determine if any charges will be filed pending the outcome of the investigation, police said.
