Two People Shot At Brockton Holiday Inn
There was heavy State Police and Brockton police activity on Westgate Drive Wednesday where two people reportedly received gunshot injuries.
BROCKTON, MA — Two people were shot, with one transferred to a Boston hospital with life-threatening injuries, in Brockton on Wednesday. The incident took place at the Holiday Inn on the 400 block of Westgate Drive with the crime scene including the Westgate Mall.
Plymouth District Attorney Timothy Cruz told reporters late Wednesday afternoon that one of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries and the other is expected to survive. Cruz told reporters the shootings are not believed to be random.
One victim was believed to be found in the Holiday Inn, while the other fled to Westgate Mall.

State Police and Brockton police were investigating the incident at the Holiday Inn and at the Westgate Mall Wednesday afternoon with the entrance to the mall closed off at the T Mobile store.
UPDATE: A Medflight helicopter did land at Good Samaritan Hospital in #Brockton to transport shooting victim to a Boston hospital, but at the last minute the victim was put into a Medflight ambulance and driven away. @wbznewsradio
