She said the incident started when a girl made a rude comment towards her and she responded with something she admitted was also inappropriate. She was walking away when she was grabbed by her hair and backpack and thrown to the ground and dragged.

Her mother, Kris Kenney, shared the video on Facebook Monday and said her daughter has been a victim of bullying since the end of the last school year.

This is what happens when there is no supervision outside a school in Brockton," Kenney wrote. "I have brought it to the school's attention. I have been seeking help for my daughter. I am done letting the school claim they are handling it. This is not a result of handling anything."

Kenney said her daughter's face was red and swollen her eyes wouldn’t stop tearing following the incident.

In a statement, Brockton Superintendent Kathleen Smith said, “Incidents that begin on social media and come into the school setting can be very disruptive to the educational setting and our students’ well being. It compels us to stress the importance of the need for parents and guardians to monitor a child’s social media interactions to ensure that their use is appropriate and responsible.”

Blaisdell's mother said she does not feel comfortable having her child return to school and she wants to press charges against the students involved.
