UPDATE: Victim Hit and Run Dies, Driver Turns Himself In

BROCKTON, MA — A man who was struck by a car outside a Brockton bar has died.

Friday night at about 1:20 a.m., a car hit a 25-year-old man crossing the street near the Spot Bar And Lounge. Video from the night shows a vehicle driving full speed into a person while four people were crossing the street.

The victim, identified as Sergio Licona, was taken to a Boston hospital with serious injuries and was in critical condition. He died Monday morning, according to multiple reports.

The person who was driving the suspected vehicle has turned himself into police for questioning. The suspect has not been identified.
