BROCKTON, MA — Fourteen city employees make at least $200,000 and 533 bring in a salary over $100,000, according to city data.

Police Captain John Hallisey has the highest salary in Brockton, pulling in $262,997.45 in 2016, according to data compiled by the Enterprise. Nine out of the top 10 spots belong to police officers, with Brockton Public Schools Superintendent Kathleen Smith coming in eighth with $226,410.

Mayor Bill Carpenter is 88th on the list with a salary of $142,791.
