Celebrating over 90 years of excellence in fashion education, The School of Fashion Design is the only educational institution in New England dedicated exclusively to the study of fashion design. SFD provides students with a solid foundation in apparel design and construction, and the skills required for a successful career in fashion. Our technical Certificate program is taught by experts in the field of fashion design. Students may take courses toward the Certificate or on a class-by-class basis to fill professional education interests. For creatives and textile arts enthusiasts, SFD offers workshops in various fiber arts such as weaving, lace making, embroidery, millinery, upcycling, and more. As an SFD student, you will join a diverse community of emerging designers. Our studios are filled with recent high school graduates, students from nearby colleges enriching their education with fashion, and working professionals embarking on a new career path. SFD faculty and students are active partners in our local community, collaborating regularly with organizations and businesses through internships, exhibitions, field trips, and special events. BROOKLINE, MA — A crash that caused a rollover on Dean Road Wednesday sent two drivers to the hospital with only minor injuries, according to police. It also meant Dean Road was blocked off for some time. Just after 10:30 a.m. two cars got into a crash and one of them hit a parked car and flipped, police said. Only the two drivers were in the cars at the time. And both were taken to the hospital.A photo of the sedan flipped on its roof as firefighters work to free the driver show the crash appeared to happen right in front of Waldstein Playground near Beaconsfield Road. BROOKLINE, MA — A crash that caused a rollover on Dean Road Wednesday sent two drivers to the hospital with only minor injuries, according to police.

It also meant Dean Road was blocked off for some time. Just after 10:30 a.m. two cars got into a crash and one of them hit a parked car and flipped, police said. Only the two drivers were in the cars at the time. And both were taken to the hospital.
