4 New Businesses In Washington Square

BROOKLINE, MA — Brookline's Washington Square has seen its fair share of change the past year. A number of shops shuttered across from Athan's Bakery prompting speculation about the sale of the building. However slowly, life has come back to that block again.

Here's who's new to the area:

Opened last year:

• Barre3 - bar studio, a female fitness event combining ballet, Pilates and yoga. (Opened March 30, 2017)
• In Good Company- New Shop Open In Washington Square Society Of Grown Ups (December, 2017)

Opened this year:

• Wellness In Motion - Chiropractic, massage and yoga practice geared toward athletes (Opened March 9 this year)
• Porto Maltese - a Mediterranean inspired seafood restaurant (Opened March 20)

Opening Soon:

• Coron Dental Studio (Still hiring dental hygienists)
• Daycare (coming soon)
