Help ID Suspected Shoplifter: Brookline PD

BROOKLINE, MA — The police department is looking to identify a person it believes was involved in a shoplifting incident at a business on Harvard Street earlier this month.

The person was captured on surveillance footage at approximately 9:15 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 3, the day of the reported incident. According to police, the person is man between 30 and 40 years of age with a tattoo on his right forearm. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, gray pants, black and white shoes, and glasses. He was also carrying a white bag.

Community members with relevant information are being asked to contact detectives at 617-730-2711. The department emphasized that he is not considered wanted at this time. The exact location of the incident has not been revealed.
