The Hamilton Company announces completion of renovations for Justice Resource Institute at 156 Lawton St. in Brookline, MA.
The school will reopen on October 13th .
BOSTON - The Hamilton Company today announced the completion of major renovations on the first floor (12,000 sq. ft.) of a building at 156 Lawton Street in Brookline, MA that was occupied by Bay Cove Academy, a school of Justice Resource Institute. The therapeutic day school received its certificate of occupancy in September and will reopen on October 13th .
"We are excited to complete the renovations forJRI," said Jameson Brown, Chairman and CEO of The Hamilton Company. "We are thrilled that the improvements made to their space will help them maintain an important presence in the Brookline community."
Founded in 1973,Justice Resource Institute has since grown into a network that has more than 100 human services programs and 2,500 employees that provide trauma informed care for children, families and individuals. Bay Cove Academy, a school of JRI, provides a highly structured learning environment for adolescents whose educational and social needs exceed those that traditional private and public schools can accommodate.
Prior to the reopening, JRI temporarily relocated their operations in December 2025 while the landlord, The Hamilton Company, completed the improvements on the building.
