Armed Home Invasion, Assault Reported At Brookline Home: Police

BROOKLINE, MA — One person was assaulted early Tuesday morning after an armed person invaded their home on Warren Street in Brookline, the Brookline Police Department said in a news release.

The home invasion was reported around 2:19 a.m., according to police. Investigators said that multiple masked suspects forcibly entered the home and assaulted a person inside.

Police said they found evidence that a firearm was discharged during the invasion.

There is still a heavy police presence near Warren and Walnut Streets as police search for suspects.

Police said no further information was available at this time.
