BROOKLINE, MA — Police have opened a death investigation after a body was found floating in the Brookline Reservoir early Monday morning, according to multiple reports.
The sighting was reported at 5:38 a.m., after which police pulled the body from the water and attempted CPR, WCVB reported. But the person was pronounced dead at the hospital shortly after.
"Preliminarily there were no obvious signs of anything suspicious," Brookline police said. "We're not releasing any info about the identity of person right now as no family notifications have been made yet. This is an active investigation."
