Brookline Bank Robbery Suspect Caught Hiding Under Dirty Laundry, Police Say

Brookline police said they tracked down a bank robbery suspect to a local residence—where he was caught hiding in a closet under a huge pile of dirty laundry.

Kyle Denn, a 22-year-old homeless man, was arrested Friday. Police said he robbed two banks— one on Commonwealth Avenue, the other on Harvard Street—within 30 minutes Wednesday.

The next day, police said they received a tip that led them to a local residence. They said they found Denn hiding in a closet with “4-5 feet” of dirty laundry on top of him. Police said someone piled the clothes on him.
