Brookline Chamber helps Local Businesses through the Pandemic
The interview with Debbie Miller and Klara Kaufman premieres on "BrooklineHub In-Depth" on Monday, January 3.

There was no way local retail shops or small businesses could have possibly navigated the treacherous waters of a raging worldwide pandemic without help. Schools closed, businesses were ordered to shut down; companies that never borrowed before had to learn in no time flat the difference between a PPP and an EIDL loan. “Worry” was the word of the day. Businesses owners, proud people who are used to risk and live no-excuse lives, were suddenly worried about the survival of their business and the health of their family and staff.
Our local businesses needed a hero. That hero came in the form of the Brookline Chamber of Commerce.
The Chamber led the rest of us by not just adapting to our new virtual world but by leading the rest of us through it. Providing education, encouragement, and, when necessary, a virtual shoulder to cry on during our times of need.
