Brookline Cop Log: Stolen Bicycles, Scooter; B & E Arrest
The following are excerpts from the Brookline police log. An arrest or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Wed., Sept. 3
- An officer conducting traffic enforcement along Boylston St observed a vehicle make an illegal turn. The vehicle was pulled over and the driver had an expired license. The driver was placed under arrest for not being duly licensed.
- An officer responded to Boylston St for a report of a past breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The individual parked his vehicle for two hours and upon his arrival back, he noticed several items were missing. The vehicle was left unlocked.
- An officer responded to a report for an attempted breaking and entering on Walnut St. The subject attempted to gain entrance through the residence door. Based on information obtained at the scene, the subject was arrested for attempted breaking and entering.
- An officer responded to Beacon St for a report of a bicycle theft. The individual locked his bicycle to a rack in the garage of his residence. Upon his arrival home, he noticed the bike was missing and the lock was on the ground near the bike rack. The matter is under investigation.
Tue., Sept. 2
- Two bicycles were reported stolen from a porch on Greenway Ct. The individual believes the incident happened the sometime on September 1. The bicycles were not locked.
- An officer responded to Harvard St for a report of a stolen scooter. The individual locked his scooter to a light pole with a chain lock on September 1. Upon his arrival on September 2, he noticed the scooter was missing. The matter is under investigation.
