Brookline Cop Log: Stolen Bikes, Store Theft, Vehicle Towed for No Insurance
The following are excerpts from the Brookline police log. An arrest or charge does not indicate a conviction.

- On August 28, by random query it was determined that a passing vehicle had revoked insurance. The vehicle was pulled over and the driver provided her license and registration. The vehicle was towed for having no insurance.
- On August 27, an officer responded to a business on Harvard St for a past larceny report. An employee observed the subject enter the store with a suitcase. The subject placed numerous amounts of clothing inside the suitcase and left the store. The subject is described as a black male, 6 ft tall, around 250 lbs wearing a red baseball cap, white polo shirt and blue jeans. The matter is under investigation.
- On August 27, an officer responded to Beacon St for a report of a stolen bicycle. The individual noticed her bicycle was missing August 19 from the rear of her building. The bicycle was not locked.
- On August 27, an individual came into the police station to report a stolen bicycle. The individual came back from vacation on August 26 and noticed her bicycle missing form her porch. The bicycle was locked to the porch.
