Brookline High School Student Inappropriately Touched Walking To Class
The girl was walking between school buildings on Tappan Street Monday afternoon when she was indecently assaulted, police said.

BROOKLINE, MA — Authorities are investigating after a female Brookline High School student was inappropriately touched by an unidentified man while walking between classes on Monday, according to the Brookline Police Department.
The girl was walking between Brookline Public Schools buildings on Tappan Street around 1 p.m. when she was indecently assaulted, according to Schools Superintendent Linus Guillory Jr. and Police Chief Jennifer Paster.
The student notified school staff, who contacted Brookline Police. Police say they are still searching for the suspect.

"Brookline High School staff members saw to the student's needs, and administrators are now planning to boost supervision between classes," according to the Brookline Police Department.
Guillory said that "Brookline High School is a safe campus" but noted that the high school complex consists of multiple buildings and students walk on public streets.

"We ask students to be mindful of their surroundings as they move about our campus," Guillory said. "Students, staff, and all community members are urged to remain aware of their surroundings at all times and report any suspicious activity to any school staff member."
