Brookline House Fire Being Investigated As Arson: Police

The fire broke out in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Jan. 25 at 89 Woodland Road.

BROOKLINE, MA — A fire that broke out early Tuesday morning at an unoccupied home in Brookline is being investigated as arson, said police.

Fire officials said the blaze broke out around 3 a.m. at 89 Woodland Road. One firefighter suffered a minor injury.

Residents in the area of Pine Manor College are asked to share any exterior video surveillance available between 12:40 a.m. and 2:40 a.m. Investigators said they have reason to believe that the suspect was walking in the area of Pine Road, Woodland Road, Glenoe Road, and Hammond Street during this time frame.
