Brookline #HydrantChallenge Going Strong

Before the snow started to fall, The Newton Fire Department sent out a big challenge via Twitter: clear out your hydrants.

The #HydrantChallenge has caught fire, and many are hash-tagging their clearances with pride.

Gloucester and Foxborough recently posted some fine clearings. But the Newton, Cambridge and Brookline Fire Departments are particularly competitive in the game, and their feeds have been blasted with cleared out hydrants tagged by residents, some of them that were needed already in an emergency.
