BROOKLINE, MA — The Brookline Metropolitan Council for Educational Opportunity (METCO) will host its first-ever, in-person Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) fair from Wednesday, Nov. 17 through Saturday, Nov. 20.
Admission to the event is open for all Brookline High School students regardless of racial identity. Attendees and their parents will have access to the fair, panel discussions, and on-the-spot admissions and interviews if they are seniors. There will also be many BHS and HBCU alumni in attendance.
"This is a unique opportunity for students to practice their interviewing skills, get advice in person from admissions professionals, and learn about some amazing colleges," said Superintendent Linus Guillory in an update Friday.
