Brookline Police Issue Local Business Burglary Alert

BROOKLINE, MA — Brookline Police have issued a "Local Business Burglary Alert" after a pair of business were broken into last week. The break-ins were at a Washington Street restaurant on Tuesday and a Harvard Street restaurant early Friday morning.

The Washington Street restaurant was robbed when a side window was forced open. Brookline Police say that the cash register located in the main area of the restaurant was emptied and that a safe was broken into and robbed.

The Harvard Street restaurant was broken into when a basement door was forced open. Police say a safe was stolen from the office.
