Brookline Police Officer Helps Turtle Navigate Busy Road

BROOKLINE, MA — Traffic detail took on a different look for Brookline Animal Control Officer Brian Bridges this week.

It was not the town's children, or one of its elderly residents, that he helped cross the busy road — but a turtle that likely had no concept of the term "rush hour."

"Thank you, Officer Bridges for helping those community members that can't ask for help," Brookline police said.
